Bakura fans tend to get carried away with the noble side of his personality.
Not to belittle it, because it does exist, but there is an aspect to his character that is very evil. He’s more of an Anti-Hero, and there are things that he does that cannot be justified.
Not so with Atem.
Not saying I don’t absolutely love him, I just don’t agree with you. Especially since I have played with the idea.
I think it could be done, but in a Death Note way, as in, the protagonist starts out with seemingly good intentions and sympathy is aimed towards him, but by the end, he has been overcome by greed and power and ultimately becomes the antagonist.
